September 5, 2010 - "Go Amazed!"
Theme Verse:
Synopsis: Amazing talk is amazing. Consider the words our culture uses to express amazement. "Mindblow". "All that." "Cats Meow." "Blast." And what child of the 80s can forget the most excellent contribution to American vocabulary of bodacious. For Gods people, amazement is meant to be one of our middle names. Constantly enthralled with what we see and hear in Jesus, we are sent to share that amazement with others. Ensuring a constant and honest flow of amazing grace is what the Christian church is all about. This is most certainly true: God does amazing things with people He has amazed with His grace.

August 29, 2010 - "Jonah - Go Concerned"
Theme Verse: Jonah 4:11
Synopsis: The history of the word “concern” is pretty interesting, really. It comes from two Latin words which, when put together, literally mean, “to sift together, to mingle”. When we have “concerns” about something or someone, our lives have somehow “mingled” with theirs. In the book of Jonah, when all things are literally said and done, the final takeaway for each of us is this: “God is concerned for people.” Now, in the Name of Christ, we are sent to go and be concerned with people on His behalf.

August 22, 2010 - "Go Finally!"
Theme Verse: Jonah 3:1-3
Synopsis: Sometimes the most difficult activity a human being ever embarks upon is simply being obedient to another. Seriously, how many times yesterday did you do exactly what you were told to do? While God gives each of us great freedom to explore His world with our unique bodies and personalities, sometimes, we are called to simply say, Yes, and do exactly as God says. Today we survey the day Jonah finally got obedience worked out, splurged from the gullet of a whale, and said Yes! to the God who said, Go! What is God finally saying to each of us this weekend?
